What is this?

Picture this – You’re sat watching TV when suddenly someone blasts through your roof, flies you to Japan and the next thing you know, you’re competing in a Japanese gameshow. That is exactly what’s going on here!

So Above Average Guy is a platformer at heart, however it’s based on micro-puzzles. Working out small puzzles on stage to progress through the game. Since it’s set on a stage, it has a crowd. Who’re pretty ruthless (I’m kidding, they’re nice). They’re react to how you’re performing, sometimes even just getting up and walking out of the theater. So please, do well.

Your character has a ton of cool and quirky costumes to wear and so far there are around 40 puzzles.

What’s happening with this?

So I talked about this on twitter a lot last year. And it’s sad to this that this project is pretty much complete apart from some tweaking and balancing! I shelved this project to work on ‘There goes the TV’, which really sucks but had to be done as it was going to just be a quick game in a month (Which didn’t happen, and it turned into like a 3 month game somehow).

Once I launch ‘There goes the TV’. This is my priority!
